Q: Can you conduct auctions at my location or do I have to bring
the items to the auction facility?
A: We conduct many business liquidations and estate sales
on location. To conduct an on-location auction, we generally need to inspect
the auction items to determine if there is enough to warrant an on-location
sale. We also need to check to see if the site is feasible for a sale
in terms of parking availability, room for display of items, compliance
with city ordinances, and if there is room to handle the amount of people
we expect to attend.
Q: What does it cost to sell items?
A: We charge special commission rates for our special auctions.
The rate depends on may variables, such as the type and amount of merchandise,
the amount of local and regional advertising that we will place and the
amount of setup involved. We can pick up items at your location and bring
them to our facility. We charge a pick up fee of $35.00 per half-hour
spent at your location.

If you want to have a special auction, all of
your items as an estate or a business liquidation, then call for a quote
as we may charge a lot less to conduct your special auction!!
Q: When can I bring my auction items and when will they sell?
A: We are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until
6 p.m. and will accept your items between 9 a.m and 5 p.m. Your items
will be placed on the next available auction (not necessarily the next
auction if that auction is already filled.) If you have a specialty item,
such as an antique piece, firearm, etc., we might suggest to you that
you place them on one of our special antique or gun auctions that we schedule
several times each year.
Q: I've never been to an auction before. How do
they work?
A: An auction house accepts items on consignment. As a seller,
you bring your items in. We sell the items to the highest bidder and keep
a percentage of the sales price. As a buyer, you come to our sale, register
to pick up a bidders number, and attend the sale. When the item you want
to bid on comes up, you raise your hand or number and get the auctioneers
attention. The auctioneer will continue to ask you to bid. When you have
the high bid and no one wants to outbid you, the item is awarded to you.
Once the auctioneer says sold, you are the proud owner of that item!
